Byron Landor - Big 12 Player of the Week

After a strong performance against Colorado in Baylor's 31-25 victory Saturday, Byron Landor received recognition on Monday as the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.

Byron Landor came up big in Saturday's Big 12 matchup between the Baylor Bears and the Colorado Buffaloes. He had 7 tackles, 5 of which were solo, grabbed an interception which he returned for 32 yards, and forced the biggest fumble of the game at the Baylor 1 yard line preventing a Colorado score. For his performance, Landor was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, by a media panel of Big 12 media members.

Landor will look to continue his stellar play as Baylor takes on Kansas State this Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco. Kickoff is at 2:30, and Baylor (5-2) is hoping to have a large crowd for this Homecoming game as the Bears try to gain bowl eligibility.

Stay tuned to throughout the week as we continue to get you ready for Saturday's matchup. Recommended Stories
