Letman Set for Western Kentucky Game

Holmes Community College safety Taj Letman (6'3,200) is one of a number of recruits scheduled to come in for visits this weekend for the Western Kentucky game. Letman is become a hot commodity this fall because he will have three years of eligibility left.

Taj Letman's name has popped up in a number of recruiting articles this year and now that the early signing period is close at hand, a number of schools are looking for quality athletes to play in the secondary.

Letman is a three star Junior College safety from Holmes Community College in Mississippi. Letman Started as a true freshman, finishing the season with 56 tackles in nine games while playing free safety. He sat out this season after having surgery on one of his fingers and will have three years of eligibility left for the program he signs with this fall. Letman recently visited Marshall and he is head to UL on an official visit for the Western Kentucky game this Saturday.

"I visited Marshall last month and I liked it," Taj stated. "It was cold up there but I like the staff and facilities; it was a good visit. I will visit UL this weekend and I also plan on visiting Arizona State and Florida International."

Taj Letman plans on driving down Friday night, but he won't be coming in by himself.

"My teammate Cedric Tillman is coming in with me to visit UL," mentioned Letman. "We both wanted to come in on our official visits and look around this weekend. We both like their program and it should be a good game against Western Kentucky. I know they don't like each other and the game means something for both programs."

Does Taj Letmen want to play together with his teammate in the same program and is he close to committing to a program?

"We've talked about playing together in college," Taj stated. "But we are going to make our own decisions and do what is best for ourselves. This is going to be the biggest decision I've made and I just want to make sure that I get it right. I'm going to take all my visits before I make a final decision. I could see myself playing with Cedric Tillman if everything works out for both of us."
