Towns sets announce date

Karl Towns

Schools won't have to wait long for a decision from Karl Towns.

Karl Towns is the No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2015, but there doesn't seem like any recruiting drama is coming for this kid.

The 6-foot-9 interior player with a nice outside shot has set a decision date for December 4 a source close to the family confirmed to Scout.com. Towns, who burst onto the scene early in his high school career, holds offers from Florida, Kentucky, Rutgers, NC State, and Duke while also having made a visit to North Carolina.

This summer Towns played on the Dominican National Team which was coached by current Kentucky head man John Calipari.

Things have moved quickly recently on the decision front, and while no hints are being given out by the family in terms of a destination most of the focus has centered around Kentucky and Florida recently.
