Ethan Horne Talks Baylor

2015 prospect talks Baylor after his recent visit to the Waco campus. We get his thoughts on the Baylor program, his relationship with the coaches, and his thoughts on the Baylor Junior Day.

Things are beginning to heat up for several 2015 prospects, but one that has seemingly gone under the radar so far, is Ethan Horne. Horne, a 6'3, 285 lb prospect out of Houston, TX, does not have an offer, but is attending camps and working hard to earn that first offer. And while he does not have an offer from Baylor, Horne is not shy about voicing his thoughts on the football program at Baylor.

"Baylor has been my favorite college to visit thus far. The people and the campus sells it. They coaches and the energy they carry, is probably my favorite," Horne said. "I'm hoping to gather enough interest to get an offer, because it would be my first choice for a college to go to."

Playing defensive tackle, and a little offensive guard, for Houston (TX) Westside HS, the senior-to-be tallied 30 tackles and 5 sacks during his junior campaign.

During his visit to the second Baylor Junior Day, Horne was able to sit down with the coaches and discuss a possible offer. "Yessir, I should get one soon. Coach Achuff said he needs to see some improvement, which are things I will definitely work on."

Horne plans to attend camps this summer and will keep in touch with Ethan, as he works towards getting his first offer. Recommended Stories
