The Boston Red Sox organization traded former Baylor backstop Kelly Shoppach to the Indians earlier this week.

The Boston Red Sox traded away a lot of young talent in an off-season move with the Cleveland Indians that landed them Coco Crisp. The Red Sox also acquired David Riske and former Texas Tech catcher Josh Bard.

In return, the Indians got Guillermo Mota, Andy Marte, Kelly Shoppach, a player to be named later, and cash.
