He hails from Midwest City High School in Oklahoma City and is currently ranked the 77th best defensive tackle in the country. This 3 star defensive standout has decided that he will play football at Baylor.

"I am committed to Baylor. I went down there this past weekend, and my family loved it," says Jones. "My mom, and my sisters, and I loved it too. I feel like that was the place for me."

Jones, who holds offers from several schools including but not limited to Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Missouri, and Tulsa, explains that he enjoyed visiting with the Baylor football staff.

"They are great coaches," says the talented 3 Star prospect. "They came from all over, and they all believe in one thing, and that is making Baylor better. I just want to be a part of it."

Jones provides that he toured the campus, and enjoyed his visit with the other players he got to meet.

Originally an Arizona Wildcat commit, Jones tells his story on why he is now committed to the Baylor Bears.

"Arizona actually filled at the defensive line position, and it kind of left me out. But it is alright. I kind of committed a little late," Jones explains.

Jones, at 6-0 294, will play defensive tackle at Baylor, a position that he has dominated in the high school ranks. Jones recorded 112 tackles his senior year and 9 sacks. The future Bear also earned All-District, All-Conference, and All-State honors for his performance on the gridiron.

"I am disruptive, fast, quick, everything," Jones says about his ability on the football field.

As far as how solid his commitment is to the Baylor Bears.

"It's solid. It's pretty much done."
