| Uses his body to get between the quarterback and the defender and shields the defender away from the ball. He does not have breakaway speed but is sure handed and squares up to the quarterback. Though he is not elusive after the catch, he turns and runs upfield immediately to maximize the gain. A very good prototypical possesion receiver. |

Three-year starter at wide receiver at Midlothian (Texas) High School... Played under head coach Robby Clark at MHS... Rated the No. 61 wide receiver recruit nationally by Scout.com and No. 90 by Rivals.com... Rated No. 70 overall prospect on VYPE's DFW Top 100 recruit listing... Listed the No. 10 wide receiver on Dallas Morning News Area Top 100... Named to Texas top 100 lists by Ft. Worth Star-Telegram and Waco Tribune-Herald... Listed among top 20 receivers in state by Dave Campbell's Texas Football... Earned 2009 first-team All-District 16-4A as senior after totaling 814 yards on 48 receptions (17.0 average) and eight touchdowns... Named to 2008 All-District 16-4A second team as junior after compiling 45 catches, 613 yards (13.6 average) and three TDs... Compiled 381 yards on 26 receptions (14.7 average) and one touchdown as freshman in 2007... Caught passes as junior and sophomore from Midlothian teammate and current Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty, also played with MHS grad and current Bear Caleb McEachern.
