Three-sport standout at Midland (Texas) High School played receiver, defensive back and returned kicks in football... Three-year starter under head coach Craig Yenzer at MHS, finished career with school-record 1,747 receiving yards... Ranked No. 73 nationally among wide receiver prospects by ESPN.com and 118th by Scout.com... Among top 20 receivers in state on Dave Campbell's Texas Football Top 300 recruit listing... Honorable mention AP Class 5A All-State wide receiver as senior in 2009... Named first-team All-District 2-5A and first-team All-Permian Basin (by Odessa American) after totaling 613 yards on 38 receptions and four TD catches, four rushes for 55 yards and one rushing TD, and three TDs on kick returns as a senior... As a junior had 761 receiving yards on 30 receptions and caught 11 TDs, also returned two punts for scores, one kickoff for a touchdown (in second round of playoffs) and totaled four interceptions as free safety... Earned 2008 second-team All-District 2-5A honors... Helped Midland to 8-4 record and area finals as junior in 2008... Totaled 19 receptions and 378 yards with five touchdowns as sophomore in 2007... Starting point guard on Midland basketball team, also letterman in track and field.
